The On Board projects are DIY electronic audio ‘instruments’ based on bespoke PCB and Laser cut circuit boards. Typically, On Board projects are hand-held interactive audio systems designed for real-time interaction. They deploy a standard hardware platform based on the ESP8266 microprocessor, with I2S audio output via the MAX98357 codec/amp to a built-in loudspeaker.
