Tips from
educators using Sound Reflections
- Have students fill in all the
'dates' sections of the Lesson Notes pages with their
lesson times at the beginning of term.
- Sound Reflections can help link
the instrumental and classroom programs by using the
diary sections for studio lessons, and the reflection
reports for classroom activities. This way all the
student's musical activities are recorded in one
place.
- Teachers can collect reflection
recorder from all students at the end of each semester to
assist in report writing.
- The yearly calendar is really
useful for students keeping dates of band performances
and assignment due dates. They can see at a glance what
music activities are coming up soon. Some students even
use it for all their
important school dates.
- Having students complete the
progress reports allows students to say things too me in
a more considered way than we otherwise have time for in
the busy teachng times. This is great for getting an
insight into my students minds.
